Pumpkin Challah for Challah'ween!

This past week, Serena informed me that she needed to bring a Challah to school in honor of Challah’ween. I was more impressed with this play on words,  than I was with the idea of getting to work on making Challah at 3:00 PM on a Tuesday. Nonetheless, I found a recipe here for Pumpkin Challah. Below are my results. Note to self…teens (and a few adults I know), prefer it with chocolate chips.

This Challah would also be perfect on a Thanksgiving table as it is festive, sweet and savory.
