  Whenever I go for a visit to my home town of Winnipeg, I never miss an opportunity to get a blow dry at my favorite salon, Edward Carriere.  As a salon-boutique hybrid, the salon also offers a perfectly curated selection of clothes, jewelry and accessories. Deborah Seguin, who co-owns the salon with her long time partner Edward Carriere, has fabulous taste and style; I can always rely on her to find eclectic and beautiful things from all over the world. 

  The print and feel of this dress is so appealing that I am glad it is a maxi, so that there is more of it. It is by one of my favorite Canadian designers, Comrags, which I have been wearing for nearly 30 years—a testament to my loyalty and their great product! 

  And I am so happy to see the return of decorative hair accessories like this flower clip. It is the perfect addition to this very feminine look. Clip clip hooray!
