The Palm Springs Air Museum was the location that my sister, Janet, chose for this outfit. She felt its military vibe, which was purely by happenstance, and as it turned out, she was correct! The gold buttons on this Chloe skirt, which I have owned forever, seemed to go perfectly with this cute striped cropped sweater by Philip Lim. The spring temperatures have a mind of their own both here in Los Angeles and elsewhere in the world. One day it is hot, and the next day it is cold. I have been vacillating between storing my winter clothes, or letting them hang around for a few more weeks. For that reason, I wore this wool skirt but ditched the tights. The gold heel of these Gucci shoes were the final salute to the military vibe, although I doubt they would pass airforce inspection!
