So here is the back story to these boots. I found myself in New York City last month and knew that Bergdorf Goodman’s would be in the throes of their final markdown sale. I ventured into the shoe section, and perused the picked over selection of shoes in my size. Nothing jumped out at me, and I was just about to leave, when I spotted these tall white boots (along with several others, but we will leave that for a later post!). To say that I am into white boots this season, is an understatement. These boots are no longer available, but have no fear because I found a very similar pair by Sam Edelman that are this pair’s equal! I think these boots elongate the leg and their low heel make them super comfortable and perfect for an all day wear.
I am also in love with this Max Mara (a new brand for me), sweater. I love its light color and I think that it really compliments the boots. I kept my handbag silver, since I think the introduction of a white bag would be too summery for the month of February. My puffer, which I purchased on sale is velvet; it is something that I have worn a lot this year in Los Angeles, since we have been experiencing low temperatures during the day. Next time that you walk by a pair of white boots, give ‘em a try, and take them for a walk.
