I am not really a fashion forward kind of gal. Don’t get me wrong; I love trends, as long as they are within my range of style and comfort. One thing is for certain, I love a silk track pant. There is something about the paradoxical nature of this pant that is both beautiful and edgy. And this has always been my style….classic with an edge. This is definitely hands down one of my favorite outfits….for several reasons. The color, the style and the fit are fantastic. The white silk ribbon that hangs effortlessly, yet defines the waist, is brilliant. Topped with a “sheer-but-not-really” white top and a white moto leather jacket, fulfills the commitment of this outfit. You must either go all the way with it, or not at all. And I certainly did, adding the white bootie for height and warmth on this chilly day here in Los Angeles. I wore this outfit to an outdoor brunch and it was perfect in that it kept me warm and comfortable. Fashion trends are definitely not for the faint of heart, and you must always wear styles that are within your comfort zone. By following this simple rule, you will always be on trend and forward thinking.

PS… all these photos were taken by my hubby, Jeff! Who knew?! A whole new world has just opened up to this accountant/attorney/business manager!
