Pastel pink and black look so good together, that I often wonder why I waited so long for their fashion union? This look was created during an impromptu photo shoot right outside the doors of Bloomingdales in the Westfield Century City Mall, with my Ear Grey Tea in hand. I run on the cold side, so you will always find me “over dressed” and with a cup of tea in my hand…. Earl Grey with a splash of milk (just like any Canadian or Brit might sip it). My absolute favorite Earl Grey tea is Harney and Sons, and after receiving several tins of it as a birthday gift, I was hooked. I now purchase it online. It’s really the best.

Back to the outfit. I will sing the praises of black skinny jeans forever. You can dress them up or down depending on your needs. I was wearing a black turtle neck, (my favorite by far is this one, from Hugo Boss), and broke up the uniformity of this outfit by topping it with this fabulous pastel pink puffer by Moncler. I realize that this was a splurge, but the amount of times I have worn it, has justified its purchase. I have linked it above; however, if you prefer a lower priced version, it can be found here. I love the fact this jacket is a hybrid of sorts, half puffer, half sweater. That makes it all the more versatile and wearable! No matter how you decide to combine it, think pink and black…you can’t go wrong.
