Here is the real back story on this post. When we shot these photos, the grey of the paid matched perfectly with the grey of the pant. However, when I went to write this post, I noticed that the grey of the pant was off in color and no longer lived in perfect harmony with this blazer. I decided to post anyways to point out a larger issue; when ordering clothing online, one must bear in mind that the color of the clothes is not exactly as it appears in the picture.

This outfit, however, came together in minutes, and that’s the honest truth. Don’t you love when that happens? I sure do, because for me, it hardly ever does! I am known to try on a billion things before settling on the look that will take me out the door for the day or evening. However such was not the case with these easy to wear grey hybrid jeans/pants from Frame and this useful white top from A.L.C that I have worn many many times since its purchase, as seen in last week’s post. Since I am always cold, I own a ton of blazers. This one, by Theory, is now on sale for about $200.00, making it well worth the ticket; Theory is known for its quality and style. If you don’t own a long blazer, I highly recommend you look into getting one. They are flattering, even for women, like myself, who are on the shorter side. Just make sure that it hits you just at the top of the thigh. Plaid is always a good choice as it endures trends and seasons.

These little socks, which at first glance appear as though they are the top of this bootie, I got at my friend Esther Feder’s “A World Curated” shop, are always a conversation piece. I have been approached by so many people asking me whether or not they are by Fendi? No, they are not; Esther shops in Italy and France and always brings home little treasures, just like these adorable socks. I can’t wait to see what she has in store for Spring/Summer!
