Comfy and Cozy in Naked Cashmere

Are we in week three or four of the quarantine? I honestly cannot remember, since today feels like yesterday and yesterday feels like tomorrow. In any case, I think we may be in for a long ride, so we may as well get comfy. Athleisure, as it is called, is huge right now. Reports on the sales of some of the hottest brands show that people are consuming a ton of sweatpants, hoodies, leggings and workout wear. And why not? If you can’t go out, why bother getting dressed up? This sweatsuit, by Naked Cashmere, is made from recycled cotton cashmere. It is so comfortable and so well priced, that I urge you to check out their website; they make items for men as well as great gifts. This is a direct to consumer company, which means you cannot purchase it in a store. You can only purchase the clothes online. And during these unpredictable times, that seems like a win win to me. I purchased these joggers and matching hoodie at a fund raising boutique for the contemporary dance company, Body Traffic. I am a huge supporter of this company, and I am heartbroken that they have been negatively impacted by the Corona virus: thye had to cancel all of their tours for the spring and summer. However, they will return to the stage and I will be the first to let you know when and where they will be performing so that you can also feel the pulse of their dance-beat.

It feels like an eternity ago that I wore beautiful shoes, and as good as that is for my feet, which will be the discussion of a future post, I miss my heels! However, my closet has many cute sneakers, and I prefer wearing a cute sneaker on some days rather than my slippers or Uggs. Many brands have slashed their prices, so keep checking online.

As you can see from the photos, I have been leafing through a stack of recipe books searching for new and fabulous recipes to share with you. That inspired me also created a separate section on the blog devoted entirely to Passover recipes that I have presented to you over the past six years.

On that happy note, stay safe, stay healthy and if you have to stay in in the kitchen, why not find a fab recipe from this blog?!!
