Classic Rock
/Many times I take my inspiration for an outfit from a magazine photo. That is certainly the case with this ensemble. While perusing a fashion magazine, I came upon an ad for Dior Rouge that just spoke to me. I thought Natalie Portman looked fabulous in her boyfriend jeans, chic blazer, pink pumps and red lipstick, and I wanted to give that look a try. My version consists of muted tones of black and grey.
I discovered these Current Elliot leather boyfriend jeans last summer, but found them for you HERE. They are perfectly comfortable and suitable for warm weather because the leather fabric is thin.
I paired them with a tried and true sophisticated black wool jacket by The Row, a super soft t-shirt by Scoop NYC, and chic cut out pumps by Jimmy Choo.
The ring, necklace and bracelets by Sarah Pacini maintain the Rocker vibe, and the studded clutch by Zadig and Voltaire gives it edge.
Duplicating a magazine look is a fun exercise, and if you have never done it, you should give it a try. You will be pleasantly surprised that a look that is au courant, can be easily duplicated by what you already have in your closet
