At 5'3 1/2 inches tall, I have always longed for a few more inches of height. In my younger days, I wore 4 inch heels and wedges regularly; probably a little too regularly, say my bunions and arthritic toes!  We have all heard about the slimming effects of the color black. This long black dress, however, actually elongates the body and makes me feel slimmer and taller. These booties are about 3 inches in height and the pitch is actually quite comfortable;  what's more, they are now on sale! I love the Altuzarra bag, (also on sale),  with its hippie-chic vibe. It is in keeping with the all black tonality of the outfit but the pop of pearl adds another element of style. The buttons around the mid section of this sweater dress could optionally open if you care to expose your midriff. However, for women of a certain age, I recommend keeping them closed, and elongating your figure.
