Casual Festive Attire

It's New Year's Eve and you're invited to a house party. The invitation reads "casual/festive attire." What's a girl to wear? Here is the fabulous idea: If you're crafty, take a pair of jeans and add a feathered fringe. If you're not, click on the link above to these fabu-jeans by Paige. The feather trim is actually attached with Velcro, which makes them versatile!! I added a red jacket to really pop the outfit. I have always been attracted to this color, as evidenced by its appearances both here and here. This unique bag, which was scored with a Saks gift card is the pièce de résistance; unfortunately, it is no longer available, but I found a very affordable version which you can peruse by clicking on the link above. Because there are many stars in this ensemble, I decided to keep the shoes as supporting players. The result is an outfit that is sure to have you feeling casually festive, no matter the occasion.
