This dress with its flouncy shape, mini length and snakeskin print is a total party dress. Given the fact that my birthday is coming up, and there are a few celebrations along the way, I plan to celebrate both its short (yes even at 60) length, color and fabulous choker! Truth be told, I might have opted for another inch in length, but what I gave up in length I scored in fun. Yes I am almost 60 but who cares? It’s not a form fitted dress, and Jeff gave it his seal of approval.

Little did I know when I purchased these fab shoes by Aquazzura, three years ago, they would be worn over a multitude of times and packed into many a suitcase. They are high heel mules that are incredibly comfortable for the fact that they are a mule, meaning that they are backless, so your foot does not feel confined as it would in a pump.

This little Valentino bag is no longer available but I found a much lower priced cute one by Tori Burch that I highlighted in the above credits.

How clever and fun is this matching choker? I love anything worn around the neck whether it is a scarf or proper choker. I layered it with this delicate necklace by Robin Terman, so that neither takes away from the other.

I love a party dress, and this one says “party on,” so I plan to do just that! Turning 60 feels like a lot, but at least with this little dress, I will go happily into this decade with a bounce in my step and joy in my heart!
